My passion right now is my new online business. I got hooked with cloth diapers with my second son Alex who is 13 months old now. I love cloth diapers so much I decided to sell them! Didn\’t realize that hundreds of work at home mom’s decided to do the same thing! But I hope that I can offer a different product line and more than just cloth diapers. I also sell organic onezess by Zee Spot, Baby Legs, Vulli Toys and more. Adding product as I grow. Hopefully someday I can open my own store!

Wish me luck!

I love to make Fabric Wall Art. It has been a hobby of mine for about just over 12 months now. There are so many different fabrics available in almost any theme you desire. The bold colours are a particular favourite of mine in the wall art that I have pictured here.

Retro, Contemporary & Vintage fabrics are all back in vogue now and match perfectly to the wide variety of paint colours that we choose to paint our homes and offices. I make these pieces by stretching the fabric over frames and securing it to the back. From a distance you will think that i have painted this art myself but i have not.

I like to spend time making my wall art when my kids are in bed at night, I can think and reflect on where and how these pieces will look once displayed.

Love Fades with Winter

Love fades with winter,
Chilling through dim light and grief
Dense snow hides the past.

Grinding wind wears deep.
Dark clouds cover confidence.
Comfort freezes black.

But, crisp clarity
And biting reality
Fill the morning air.

Used to be that I owned a domain and hosting plan for a single megabyte flash file I had slapped together in college as a portfolio and self promotion for finding a job. Web design was foreign and frightening - so my passion project has been to demystify the workings of the ‘net, and learn what the heck I’m doing. It’s going well so far, and I’m hoping to get some better javascript chops here in the near future.

My passion project is taking pictures. How do you get fantastic images that can tell a story without words? I am far from having digital photography all figured out but my journey is filled with passion. Here are a few attempts at capturing the moment.

The idea for mPP came as I was talking to a friend one night. We were discussing his need for a creative outlet after work and a place to show others what he was working on. Setting up a website seemed like too much work and a thought was born - what if there was an easier way to share your work?

Over the next few months I worked on the design (my specialty) and development of the site. I had been using WordPress for a few other sites and it worked perfectly for the implementation of mPP. Plugins like Sociable, cForms and coffee2code made setting up special features a snap (thanks guys!).

I run my own graphic and web design business, so mPP is both an extension of that and a separate side project. As I worked more and more on the site and things started coming together I got even more excited and worked hard to finish things up. Finally it was ready for beta-testing (thanks for the great feedback beta-testers!). Now the site is live and I’m excited to continue to work on making it a great community blog where passionate people can share their Projects with the world!

I’d love to hear what you think, so leave me some comments, drop me an email, or post your own Project!
